Life is simple. are we complicating it??

Life as it is, is very simple. it is we who complicate it with our own feelings, expectations and understandings !! one beautifull example for this is an incident in my trip to chittagong. after crossing the border with all necessary documentation, i reached the Akoura railway station with an idea of catching the chittagong train. It was so crowded that i could not buy a ticket to chittagong. I approached the booking office through side entrance and was informed that there is no ticket to chittagong...Left stranded, i saw a local passenger train arriving the station. with my very little Bengali i understood that it is a local passenger train and takes more time to go to a place called COMILLA from where i thought i can take a bus. as the ticket counter ( only one was working on that day ) was too crowded, i just entered a compartment and got a very comfortable seat. as said above, here i complicated my beautifull journey... it was such a beautifull trip full of lush green farmlands, nice landscapes and wonderfull evening reminding me of the song, " pon maalai poluthu " ... as the train moved after a long stay, i just noticed the arrival of complications... the ticket examiner along with two railway policemen, was checking for tickets with every one... i just smiled to myself and decided to wait until he came near... first the policeman came and asked for ticket in Bengali... i simply said in English, " Sir, i want one to comilla !! " the examiner just collected 10 TAKA from me and allowed me to continue the journey ............... so .... moral of the story ...........

Tribute !!!!

i was planning to write up a tribute to my maternal Grand Father and circulated a mail among some of my cousins.... my uncles' children who started responding to my mail with some wonderfull memories about our Grand Father... interesting points from the mail
- we take love and affection for granted and never appreciate
- prejudice thoughts spoil positive relationship
- when you get a chance to see something positive, forget the past and appreciate the positive
- we assume we know so much about our grand parents, these mails say how little we know
- never postpone your feelings of appreciation to someone, you may never get a chance

relations !!

a relationship become beautifull only when it is built on love and affection.... love accepts people as they are and that is why many relationships do not go beyond the introductory stage... we do not accept people as they are.... we often expect everyone else to be perfect irrespective of whatever we are...
my stay away from home gives me an opportunity to sit and see every person on their positive sides and what i have failed to notice and how i should change my attitude towards them...
instead of waiting for changes on both sides i have decided to take initiative to break the ice and move one step further and make relationships more beautifull and more meaningfull...
after all, it is not just important how many you know and care but it is very important to understand and accept every one of them as they are...
